jjsmusic Posted August 7, 2011 Share Posted August 7, 2011 Hello, I just bought new SKB cases to both of my LPs (Studio and Studio Lite). As I don't have too much space in my studio apartment, I've been thinking about getting rid of the original cases or at least another one of them. I know that the case that came with my regular STUDIO is original but I have no idea if the case that came with the lightweight STUDIO is original (mine's 1990's model and they came with gigbags I think). Can you identify this CALIFORNIA GIRL-style case I have and perhaps tell when was it made? The case is quite beaten up and the only text I can see on it is Gibson (not Gibson USA). The interior is pink plush and the outer material is tan coloured but it isn't real leather (the another case I have is leather case). It also has a plastic handle and five latches (one with the option to use a lock with the case).
