Toner
Hey, I've noticed that when my bridge PAF is in parallel with the strings it has a fuller tone. I know I've seen people use duct tape on the rings. And heard about the new specs that align the rings to the strings better. What is the best way to get the PU parallel to the strings? Toner
It seems that the braided output lead is what is causing this to happen. I may have to buy some replacement wire to add enough to the pickup to allow slack in the PU cavity to center the effect the wire has on the PU's tilt. The tilt I am referring to is along the nut-to-bridge length of the string, causing the slug coil to be nearer to the strings and the screw coil to be farther away.
