sok66 Posted November 8, 2011 Share Posted November 8, 2011 A little late with a response. In a new pickup you can't beat the Gibson '57 Classics or Burstbuckers for that era Gibson. Original pickups were "T Tops", a bit low on output but great in the neck slot for clean tones. As soon as the DiMarzios became available in the early 70s guys started swapping them out, so you may be able to find a set of originals for it.
