econnofoot Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 I was killing time in a pawnshop and there was a pretty ugly lp jr doublecutaway in the window, I was in a bit of a rush and didn't actually have time to get it in my hands. Definitely looked old, and I was kinda puzzled as the was only Gibson at the top of the headstock, could this be pretty old? I'm planning to make a return trip and get my hands on it for a closer look(place had really poor sales people). My knowledge of Gibson stuff is pretty limited. Thanks. Versatile Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 A serial no. would probably elucidate if genuine In the UK we are lucky to have quality copies of SC and DC LP Juniors By the luthier Gordon Smith I have a natural DC with P90 Which is one of my favourite 'fun' guitars with great tone and playability....
