pauloon Posted November 17, 2011 Share Posted November 17, 2011 I wanted more information as I have a few,but not sure if guitar&case as left the Gibson factory, (so to speak),.. Anyhoo,Gibson sent me this e-mail......... There is not much documentation in fact we could find about models that were sold by Gibson in the Protector case. However, we guess that it was mostly Les Paul models and possibly SG’s. At customer service we don’t recall ever seeing one for the designer series- Flying V, Explorer or the ES model in a protector case. This is why we are guessing in the way I lined out.
