elmo2elmo
I recently purchased a VOS 60's les paul special, it is great except there is a ridge where the binding meets the wood along the neck, top and bottom all the way along (the binding is slightly lower than the level of the wood). I was told this is to recreate the way it was made in the 60's. I am finding it difficult to beleive that a "flaw" would be incorporated in a VOS model. I own 4 other Gibsons and this does not occur in any of these other models. Can anyone shed some light on this. Thanks
