asg618
I managed to get my hands on a low serial # of the Cherry Gloss version of CC#2 "Goldie". This is the "clean" version of Goldie, with no aging, meant to look like a brand new guitar purchased in 1959. The guitar is an absolute stunner and plays wonderfully. But I noticed that there are a series of light scratches on the black plastic backplate. I called the dealer, who happened to have another in stock, and he said the other guitar has the same exact thing. So we are wondering whether this is intentional - its not the kind of damage you see from someone sitting and playing the guitar and accidentally givingit a scratch or two. It has a "manufacturing process" look to it, as if the parts went through the exact same process and this is just a consequence of manufacturing, intentional or not. Anyone know anything about this?
