I'm guessing here, but given the "C" prefix and the Korean manufacture, and the fact the The Guitar Dater project has no record, it's possible that it was made by Cort. Given Cort's legacy of being known for its unfair treatment of it's workers I'm not sure if Epiphone would ever admit to having its guitars manufactured there. The fact that other factories have prefixes matching their name (S = Samick, P = Peerless, U = Unsung...) it certainly fits. If I were a betting man....
