Dear friends of the Gibson family.

 

I’ve made my dream come true when I bought my Gibson Custom Zakk Wylde Signature Les Paul Electric Guitar - Bull's Eye

That’s an amazing guitar and I want to keep it for a long time.

Since I’ve never had such a good guitar, can you guys give me some advices to clean it and preserve it as good as possible? I’ve read the gibson forum but I did not find anything concerning this specific guitar.

My questions are:

1-I’ve bought the “Gibson world’s finest pump polish”. Is it good for this guitar? I use it only for the body?If so, How often should I use it?

2-What about the Dunlop System 65 maintenance kit? It comes with bodygloss (cream ofcanauba), guitar polish and cleaner, string cleaner, cleaner and prep and deep conditioner.

3-What do you suggest to do and how often each of the guitar parts:

-body

-pickup switch

-volume and tone controls

-pickups

-bridge

-neck

-frets

-headstock

-tuning pegs
