CortxVortx
Any of you 1275 guys ever tried anything lighter than .010 or .009 on the 12 neck in addition to, say, lowering the action a bit? You can probably guess why I'm asking: hand fatigue. After a few minutes of the obligatory Hotel California, Xanadu, Song Remains the Same, etc. my left hand is pooped, heheh. I was thinking of trying a set of .008's, but wanted to get you guys' opinions first. Thanks.
mcgruff
Sure, why not? Everything else has to come second to actually being able to play the thing. You might need a little bit more relief in the neck to get the best action.

Namely a couple of guitar techs were saying things like, "Oh, anything lighter than .010 will screw up your intonation...blah blah blah," sooo I figured I'd ask the real experts: players who actually *use* a doubleneck regularly! LOL. I'll be changing to a set of Ernie Ball 2230's and re-adjusting this weekend. My left hand is looking forward to it, heh. Cheers, mate. :-)
