galchu
My robot guitar started malfunctioning about a week ago, every time i pull out the mck, blue led lights flash all around. It wont respond to anything besides pushing it back in. Removing the battery pack and reinserting it (as someone suggested in a similar thread) helps as a short term solution, but the problem comes back after an hour or so. Does this problem occur because of a faulty/old battery pack, or is it something else? Any help/insight would be highly appreciated.
Kaiser Bill
Being a Gibson I would think it is lifetime guaranteed. As for helping...I don't own one so I have no idea what to do other than take it to an authorized repair facility...or send it in to Gibson for replacement of the faulty parts (s). CharlieP
It is possible the battery is past it's prime or the connectors need reseating inside the cover plate. Does it come to a full charge cycle?
galchu
I was able to charge it okay (took the usual amount of time to charge) after reconnecting the battery, but the problem persists after a few charges.
