duluthdan Posted February 26, 2017 Share Posted February 26, 2017 Have these on the J-45 for a few days now, and they are wonderful - I would rank them right up there with Sunbeams. A week ago I tried putting a set of the new Mangan 13 Medium round cores on the J-45 Legend with the hope that they had lighter tension which would allow me to get away with tuning to standard. Nope - too painful, especially on the high E and B. Had to tune down half a step. The Legend is now on the bench in Boulder getting setup for mediums.
