Iíve got a 1967 ES-125TDC. Two problems:

1. The neck pickup has a newer and brassier finish. Still looks older and no markings anywhere by a manufacturer. Reads 8.1 ohms.

2. The bridge pickup is a more corroded aluminium looking base. Took a lot of torque to get the base plate off. No markings either. Reads 4.0 ohms.

What could be happening here? How can I both authenticate these p90s and what could be wrong with the 4.0 ohm reading pickup?

A link to a photo of both pickups. The neck pickup is the newer brassier finish on the bottom plate and the bridge pickup has a corroded steel or tin finish... https://www.dropbox...._1355.jpeg?dl=0
