daveinspain
Would Gibson consider making a pick guard out of the same material they use for the control covers on the back side of the guitar. That transparent plastic material with with the bluish tinge would make a super sexy pick guard. You'd still see the gorgeous Silver-blue burst paint job and it would tie in with the back covers... The first item on my Robot wish list....

But I'm a little leery of drilling holes in my new Robot! <g> Cat Daddy
daveinspain
I hear you Cat Daddy... Maybe the pick guard could be made to screw into the plastic frame that goes around the humbuckers... Could work...
Cat Daddy
Hi, Dave! There is a fellow named Bobby Lee who makes "screwless" pickguards for Gibson Les Pauls. If you would like to contact him about a Robot pickguard, here's his email address: NicaTme@aol.com Best wishes! Cat Daddy
