damian
My recording studio ( for the most part ), large amps, etc. are all in storage awaiting a new home....I have years of playing, studio work for hire etc. blah blah blah... I have my korg D3200 here and some guitars and small amps; I'm gearing up to record where I'm at, but don't have my fancy amps here amd I don't want to mike my amps here ( keeping a low profile )....I should know this answer but I don't......Can I use the headphone out of my small amps as a line out, and if I can, what would the quality difference be etc. etc. etc.??? Thanks.......
Sproggie
Using the headphone socket as a line out won't be a problem. The only difference is, the speaker will be off and you'll have control of the signal level. Quality should be as good as using a line out socket. Search for your amp on the net. Someone has probably posted a line out mod for it and it should be easy to do.
