  1. There are several things wrong with this guitar: The headstock---why is there no clear view of the front of the headstock? The B45-12 headstock featured a gold Gibson decal and two mother of pearl triangles. The tuners are not the originals. The originals were 6 on a plate Klusons with white plastic knobs. The black paint on the back is not original and I suspect that the front of the headstock has been painted black also....probably to hide a headstock crack or break which was repaired. I suspect that the front of the headstock was repaired and the inlays lost/left off before the finish was applied. If I was going to buy this guitar, I would ask for a clear frontal view of the instrument's headstock. If a headstock repair was not performed on this guitar, then why go through the trouble of painting the back (where the serial number was)? Strange! Bob
