  1. Hi everyone, Thanks for viewing my post. My grandpa passed away and left me a few of his guitars. My favorite is this 1973 (based on the serial ID) Gibson LG-0. It's beat up, but sounds really great to me. I'd like to bring some life back into this thing as a tribute. The sound hole is somewhat caved in on the pickguard side and there is a very slight belly bulge occurring. Because of the belly bulge it looks like the bridge is leaning inwards. The frets are looking really shaved down, but still do their job. There is also a crack on the right of where the pickguard should be. Since I'm still in college, I'd love some feedback on what I can do myself to improve the condition. I'm not looking for a miracle, but just to fix it up a bit (I'm really handy I promise). It would be great to get some insight on where I should even begin. All recommendations are valued and I would appreciate any kind of feedback. If there's additional pics you need, I'll be sure to upload them. And for humidity questions, I live in Northern CA. Thanks everyone!
