Does anyone know if the new (i.e. 2019/2020) Double Cuts have a chambered body?
About 20 years ago, I had my hands on a used, real Gibson Double Cut in "Ivy Green" (or at least very similar, but with green back) and it was AWEsome after trying some new Les Pauls Single Cuts that were ho-hum imho, but couldn't swing the cost then ($1,200 iirc) and the place couldn't do a layaway because it was on consignment. 😞 I believe Gibson was using lightening holes at the time for this model to reduce weight and coincidently adding tone. 🙂
