Thank you very much I was thinking because there were only 270 made in the natural finish that it would have more value than a burst. I would imagine out of those 270 there can't be that many left out there. (648 bursts) Thanks again.

Ok, so I have a friend that may consider selling his '55 J185. He is asking $10,000 CAD. It was damaged badly years ago, but repaired well. It has the wear you'd expect from a vintage guitar that has been heavily played. Still playes well, great action and sound. I know the blond/natural finishes are the more rare ones on this model. Any thoughts on the asking price. I'm thinking about buying it from him. He's an honest guy but I thought I'd do my homework first. Thanks.
