  1. Hi Everyone, I purchased a banged up 2017 Studio a few months ago. I just refinished it, and I'm trying to figure out what exactly I have. It's not a typical studio. Ash top Ash body Maple neck Skinnier headstock 1 Volume/1 tone 3 way toggle is located by V & T knobs Honestly, I'm more of an 80s super-strat guy (sorry), but I figured you all here would know what it is. Thanks in advance for your help. Links to a few photos below. -Jeff https://photos.app.goo.gl/rTYbPMa5uSk8wNd18 https://photos.app.goo.gl/oZbEwhow1MNANRmy7 https://photos.app.goo.gl/HhsNgubpvAjPNnTs6
  2. I found it! 2012 GIBSON LES PAUL STUDIO '50S TRIBUTE HUMBUCKER ELECTRIC GUITAR SATIN VINTAGE SUNBURST FINISH
  3. Hi, I replied on my phone, but I don't see that it submitted it. Oh, well. I'll just type again. I don't think this is correct here. The guitar still has the 490R and the 498T. The 2012 date is is on a small white decal on back, so these are the originals. The seller said something about a Tribute model. I don't know much about those other than just in passing, but that's the clue I'll use with Google. Thanks for your help here. Anyone else have an ideas? Merry Christmas to you all! Jeff
  4. Hi All, I recently purchased a batch of 12 guitars from a man, and I received a Les Paul in the group. Please don't hate on me, but LPs just aren't my thing. I'm a kid from the 80s and only own super-strats. I know it has to be a studio, but it doesn't look like the standard studio I come across. I'd love any help you all can provide. Thanks. - Jeff\ SN# 120221309
