Uncle Jesse

I'm trying to identify this lapsteel for my dad. I've been comparing to the ones on Reverb but this one has Kluson tuners and a brown case with a black interior. We cannot find a serial number on the unit. Any guesses on year? He wants me to put it up for sale. I'm seeing 800-1100 on asking prices but I know that doesn't mean anything. Any guesses on value?
