Hello, I had posted this other thread about this Norlin Epi D-16 but I now seek for more information about it. This wiki shows it as a solid spruce top + solid rosewood back and sides. I can try to confirm that the top is solid by following the grains into the soundhole. But this is hard to do with the sides and back. If anyone else has certainty about this, I will be glad to know more. Another thing I look for is information about this serial number, 1900007 with a T stamped. See picture. Cheers, Webert

Hello, I recently got this Epi D-16 from a local listing and I was trying to find more information about it. What I got so far is that these Epi guitars were made as entry level guitars in 1979/80. According to http://www.epiphonewiki.org/index/Epi-Series_Acoustics.php#D-16. this guitar has Solid woods all around, but I find it hard to trust this information. Is anyone around here that knows more about it? Label attached. Thanks!
