  1. Thanks for the info - Gibson Customer Service said the same. I’ll need to take it to a shop to get the pot numbers - they all have covers and my luthier skills are sub par for vintage Gibson haha.
  2. Hi, first timer here. Just bought a vintage ES - 175D serial number 600138. Trying to authenticate and get info on the manufacture year. It has a label inside the upper f hole saying it was build at the Kalamazoo, MI plant. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Dennis.
  3. Hello. First timer... I just bought a vintage ES-175D. Seller said he thought it is a 1972, looking for some info. Serial Number is 600138, sticker says it was made in MI. Cannot find pot numbers (using a mirror on a stick. Haha). Anyone able to help me with getting a year and other info? Is there an official authentication process? Thanks, Dennis.
