I am here to ask your help in finding verifiable specs on older gibson guitars - specifically necks & pickups used. If you could point me in the right direction, that would be wonderful. Here it goes.. It is the same request for each guitar so I'll list the items first then after, the guitars.
Neck shape, neck size, neck thickness @ nut, fret 12, neck width @ nut and end of fretboard, humbucker type (ie 496R, 500T, etc) & position and truss rod type
1958/9 flying v, 1963/4 flying v, 1958/9 explorer, 1964/65 explorer, 1964/5 firebird, 1968/69 firebird.
Just so you know, I have two books just on the firebird/flying v and explorer and have combed the internet. Thank you in advance for any and all of your assistance, I greatly appreciate it!
