  1. I'd point out that if the trem is floating and can be pulled up sharp, some wood removed to allow the trem block to move in that direction might be reasonable. I've actually had to do this on other Super Strats manufactured before big blocks and 2 step pull ups were common. But that does seem extreme and ill-advised. Like a rout on the a Ibby Jem but more poorly executed and upside down. 🤔
  2. Not sure if this is appropriate but as it's a limited edition axe, I'm assuming it's in the correct thread group. Anyone know how many of the 50 Anniv. SG Diablos w/ Floyds were made? Any guesses as to whether they will ever release another batch? Would dearly love to lay my hands on another after foolishly selling mine off years ago.
  3. I've no qualms with my CS ( one of 3 ) Firetiger Axcess. I will concede that there is likely some moderate tone/resonance impact by having it chambered but whatever that marginal loss is, it is indiscernible to 99.999 % of the audiences that might hear it. 😉
  4. Long time SG and LP fan. My Gibby journey started on a Hondo copy of a Les Paul ( because, well, Ace Frehley and Kiss! 😆) It quickly moved to a Melody Maker SG with a craptastic vibrato unit. Since then, it's been an irregular journey thru LPs and SGs (and one dreadful Goth Explorer) Currently have my Custom Shop LP Firetiger Axcess that's been with me since 2010(?) and a new-to-me 24 fret SG coming in the next few days. 😄 My current mission is to find a 50th Anniversary SG Diablo with Floyd Rose. I had one in 2012 and foolishly sold it years later when the cover band stopped gigging. I upgraded mine with a real deal black OFR and nut, black knurled dome knobs and black Grover tuners. It was so sweet! I saw it come available online a year or so ago but the asking price was almost $2000 over what I sold it for. When I finally worked up the nerve to drop that amount, it was gone! 🙁 Cheers!
