Biffy

For the record, I did find out the answer to this, from the guy who made the Snakepits at the Custom Shop, the kind on the right is fake, they only ever made the kind on the left.

Is there only one type of lettering on Snakepit truss rod covers or two variations? I've found examples of two types, one type I suspect is fake but I don't know how many variations Gibson actually made. I'll attach pics, the one on the right is the one I suspect to be fake. Is that a font that Gibson sometimes uses or not even?
