Thanks everyone for the help. It did need an allen key to adjust the truss rod, so I took a pass on it.

I have been looking at buying this 335 from a friend of a friend but he doesn't have any history of the guitar and I am nervous about the headstock design, which I haven't seen on a 335 before. Its a lot of money and I was just hoping someone could check it isn't an obvious fake. thanks
