DeWitt Kennard

I've had a 1969 ES-125 CD for 12 years. Love everything about it except one thing, the narrow neck. Somewhere I read that at some point a few were built with a wider neck. Is this true? If so, are any still out there. Is it possible to refit the body with a 175 neck? Does Gibson have a modification shop? Thanks
