  1. Hey there, my name is Eric. I've been playing and performing for over 20 years. For years I've switch between a strat and other various humbucker style guitars. I finally decided to take the plunge and invest in a Gibson. After reviewing and trying out many I finally landed on the Les Paul Traditional Pro V, satin finish desert burst. I just got it home tonight and man this guitar is amazing. The biggest selling factor for me was the switching capabilities and the tradbucker pickups. With coil tapping, splitting, and phasing via dip switches it really becomes a versatile guitar. While the single coil performance isn't exactly full Stratocaster sound it is close enough that I can stick with one guitar for a gig. As a cover band performer I play all styles from country to alternative and this guitar seems like it will handle everything. The underwound neck and the overwound bridge pickups have so much range and tonal shape.
