Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. I recently Inherited my grandfathers 1951 ES-125 which my grandmother purchased for him new in "51". Sometime in the 50's my aunt broke the head off the neck which he repaired himself. The guitar is beautiful other than the neck repair he painted the head covering the Gibson logo and clear coated it. It has been kept in the original case when not being played and it still plays very well. My dilemma is that I would like to restore it back to its original condition or should I just leave it as it is.
