Thats interesting, i have to imagine they have big facilities I wonder if its from a less glamorized part of the factory. who knows, the company seems pretty fly-by-night and the guy was probably just desperate to seem credible.

I have some photos that I think you might find interesting, but I'm not sure if I should be sharing them. They are photos of the inside of the Qingdao factory in China that produces Epiphone guitars, and they offer a small look into the facility. A few years ago, I was approached by the founder of Goldfinch Guitars who was trying to convince me to pre-order one of his guitars. He claimed that they were being made in the same factory, using the same materials and tools as Epiphones. I was intrigued but ultimately didn't pre-order one of his guitars. How much different do you think the Epiphone operation is from the Goldfinch production? It looks like there are Epi body shapes in the background, is it same product but different packaging? Like same soup, different bowl?
