The other day, in order to paint the Steinberger, I removed the bridge (R trem tremolo) and after painting was completed, attached the strings again . As a result, the tension on the strings becomes considerably stiffer, and when I turned the tuning pin, the bridge, which should have been fixed, is released and the bridge floats.
I would like to know if anyone has an idea how to improve in such a case. In addition, since we play jazz, I do not use the arm, so I keep it fixed all the time.
