Hello, just wanted to know of its okay to have it this low? Both E strings are touching the bridge sligtly (it's because the slots are deep).

Hello everyone I have one problem, i bought used SG standard 2012 with the quick connect circuit. The guitar produces louder hum and it only stops when i touch pickup covers or input jack. (My other guitar's hum stops when i touch any hardware/strings) Is it normal and what could be possible fix? Thanks in advance
