Hello! We have tried for hours to research the serial number on our Les Paul, but we cannot decode it. We are unsure if the code is 631074 or 831074 as it has been refinished, making it hard to read the first number. It is definitely either a 6 or an 8. It says “Made in the USA” on the back as well (this is important as I have read). The guitar was purchased in 1972, so it can’t be an 83. Just wanting verification on the year to be certain! Thank you!
