Heyy.
There is this Gibson SG being sold in my city. The seller says it is a GIBSON SG SPECIAL USA 1996.
The problem is, the headstock has the famous SG crown, and i’ve never saw a Special SG with this crown in it. Only standards and customs has it as far as i’m concerned.
Also, the origin black finish looks wrong to me. Different from others Black SGs i’ve seen before.
Can you help me identifying is this guitar is real?
The black finish is the original. The red one is after the owner sent to a luthier to remove the painting. The also changed the pick guard.
