  1. Interesting. Thanks so much for all the input.
  2. Well, one thing I have found is that Terri has a LOT of Gibson guitars. I thought I had found a good shot of the neck on this one, but then realized the one I was looking at, looked like this one, but it had another fret marker at 17. Nope. Not this one. I think I did find her 1952 in her official Highway video. As for something showing the nuts, I'm pretty sure this one is the same guitar, but unfortunately, the video is only 480 dpi.
  3. Thanks, @Red 333 So, correct me if I'm wrong, but does that still mean "Post 1955," but more specifically circa 1961-1970?
  4. Nice catch. And that rack posted by @Dave F certainly shows at least two other candidates to be the 1952 from Grandpa. I think @ksdaddy and @tpbiii had it nailed at first sight. Post 1955 J-50 Thank you, gentlemen.
  5. Thanks for chiming in. It could very well be. I realized that the reason I thought it was a 1952 was an article I had read over a decade ago in Guitar International. She had mentioned that her grandfather had given her a 1952 in mint condition that she liked for recording sessions. I didn't think Gibson used that style of pick guard until a decade or so later. That said, 1) I could be way wrong, and 2) that may not be the guitar she was talking about in the article. It does have a very nice sound though.
  6. Terri Clark plays a lot of Gibson guitars, and I really love the sound of this one. It's different than her Dove or Hummingbird. I think it's a 52, but I could be completely wrong. Can anyone identify this one for me? Thanks in advance.
