is the maestro a good vibrato? a bad vibrato? how exactly does it work??

i was mainly looking at the '57 black beauty, '57 goldtop, '58 burst, and '60 doublecut special..

the 3 pups arent something i NEED but would add a bit more of a different tone....btw, i play mostly oldies rock, folk, some modern rock, and blues.

so i was thinking of getting a 57 les paul custom (3 pickups & bigsby)...and i was thinking of replacing the pickups with Antiquity humbuckers.. which are literally PAFs (i SERIOUSLY dont like gibson's PAF reissues)... or should i get a different kind of les paul? i want to make the RIGHT choice here....
