  1. About month ago I bought an Epiphone Ltd. Ed. Slash Les Paul Standard PRO Premium Outfit with full price.

On a day when I bought it, at home I looked at the guitar from the Epiphone's Internet page and find out that the guitar was missing a Slash guitar strap. I asked from the dealer about it and they contacted to the distributor. Today I got answer - they can't deliver a Slash guitar strap to me, because there aren't any spares. A little disappointment, that my guitar isn't complite collector's Edition, but I can't give this guitar away either. The guitar itself is a keeper. I have a little bit mixed feelings right now what I should think about my purchase...

  2. As far as I know, all ES-355s made after 1982 are "limited editions" made as small lot custom orders or individual custom orders.

The serial number should begin with the letter B followed by a "9" which indicates that it is an ES-355. The next number should be a "0" indicating 2010. The last three numbers indicate how how of that model were made prior to yours. As far as knowing if they were mono or stereo, Bigsby, Maestro or Stopbar, I am not sure if anyone including GCS can tell you that.

Thank you for your answer. I also believe that only Gibson Custom Shop can answer how many they built.

But that serial number is interesting. Serial in my guitar start with "CS 05". Serial is in the back of the headstock, in the f-hole, Certificate of authenticity and packing checklist.

In the packing checklist the date is august 2010.

Model number on packing checklist and certificate is HB 049M. In the f-hole the model is ES-355.

  3. Hi, I have been searching for cherry red Gibson ES-355 w/Varitone and w/Maestro for several years. Now I found one and bought it.

It is limited edition from the 2010. Because these ES-355 (with these specs) seems to be very hard to find. I'd like to ask, how many Gibson ES-355 did the custom shop build on year 2010? I appreciate your answer. Thanks!

EDIT: I have no intension to sell it. Just play it. It took years to find.

  4. I have a question to Tronical. After the charging issue I had - my 1st run Robot doesn't finish charging with blue lights (this is the third time that I'm charging it). I have stopped the charging after 90 minutes, because user manual says so. Is this telling me something? Battery has reached the end of the life? I know that battery's lifetime is limited. So it is not a surprise. Or do you think, that there is something wrong in my 1st run Robot and I have to find a technician?

It was the first time that my battery went dead. Usually I start to charge the battery, before it is totally empty.

    Thank you for your reply.

  5. Wow, I fix my problem.

    1. When I push charger's electricity cable hard in to the charger, it start to charge! When I STOP pushing electricity cable, it stopped charging.

    2. I pushed electricity cable into the charger about a MINUTE. I stop pushing and now it is charging like charm (=normally).

    - either I have connection problem in chargers electricity plug or charger requires this kind of procedure, that it start to charge after the battery is dead. I haven't get my battery dead before...
