If I ever have to work as a retail guy there' date=' I [b']will[/b] swap around the TRCs! =P~/
hmmmmm...there's a spot open at my local GC....I might just go for part time.

Your pics are just fine..Non elitist Epi LP's all have 3 screw TRCs AFAIK..Gibby's only have 2.
Thanks for clearing that up.

According to the Guitar Dater project website, the LP I have was made at the Unsung Korea plant in 1995. That is as much of it's past that I know. And yes, the TRC has 3 screws. Here are some pics I took just now, but I suck at taking pics, so I apologize for the quality beforehand...

Key question is' date=' his has 3 screws not the standard 2 screw TRC. [b']can you post more pic's of the body?[/b]

Thanks for the info guys! Epiphones & Gibsons are new to me, so Im just getting my feet wet with these great guitars.

Someone around here had previously said that they stopped using those Gibson TRCs in the early to mid '00's.
Might just be since my guitar is a 1995 year model.

It's pretty common for Epiphones to have Gibson on the TRC. Depends on the factory' date=' from what I've seen.[/quote']
Ok, that puts to rest some doubt in my mind about the previous owner swapping out the epiphone TRC for one that's marked Gibson. BTW, this guitar was made in the Unsung, South Korea plant.

I am the owner of a 1995 Epiphone Les Paul standard which I picked up used. I noticed that it's truss rod cover has 3 screws but has the word "GIBSON" on it. I dont have any info on my guitar's past, so i wouldnt know if the previous owner swapped it out or something. Is there anyone here who knows about epi LPs having "GIBSON" truss rod covers? I know the newer ones dont have "GIBSON" on it. Here's a pic of it...sorry for the bad pic, i dont have any other at the moment...
