I have one in white - but it's obviously been repainted (rather badly!). Your picture of the red one intrigues me, because the wraparound bridge has a different saddle pattern to mine. Do you have a wound G string on it?
When it came to me, mine was quite beat up and the top nut was shattered. I glued it back together and thought it was OK, but I still couldn't get the intonation of the D and G strings right. (My set has an unwound G.)
I fitted a new top nut, but the intonation was still bad. So I'm looking at replacing the bridge with one of those intonatable types. But before I do that, I wonder if all I need to do is replace the strings with different gauges that will work with the existing bridge (after all, the intonation is affected by the string gauge). If so, does anyone here know what gauges of strings should be used?
