  1. Well I had a great experience at the one in Baton Rouge, LA. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. They are definitely in the business of pleasing the customer over there.
  2. It's sounds unbelievable! It's so deep and rich!! I have it hooked to a VOX ADVT 30 XL and the two together, it's like they were made for each other. Now, if I can just get my playing back on track!!!
  3. Well, I went yesterday and bought my Epi Les Paul. It was the first time I went to Guitar Center and I was in guitar heaven. I have several local guitar shops but, they don't have the selection. Anyways, I did as you guys suggested and tried different guitars and I fell in love with the one I bought. I really liked the plus top in honeyburst but there was a plain top in honeyburst that drove me nuts. The finish is perfect and I knew as soon as I put it in my hands it had to be mine! The feel and the tone!!!! It's like, "Where have you been all my life?" Anyway, I have pics but, I can't find the cable at the moment to upload them to my pc. As soon as I do I will post the pics.
  4. I'll post some pics of whatever I come home with. I'm sure you guys will definitely approve!
  5. Well guys, I'm going to get my Epi LP tomorrow. I'm excited and nervous!!! I've been eyeballing the Plus top in Honeyburst. Any thoughts?
  6. Well, when I go to the closest Guitar Center, I plan on trying different Epis. I really like the finish on the plain top. My local Guitar Center doesn't have many used ones to choose from. I can't wait.
  7. Hey guys, I'm new here. Let me first start off by saying that I've played guitar since the very early 90's. I've been away from playing for about 5 years now. Recently my 11 year old son wanted to start playing guitar due to his and my love for 80's glam rock and metal. Needless to say, I was very excited for him. I've owned many a guitar from Jacksons to Fenders. Well, I no longer own any of these guitars any more to hand down one of them so, I went and purchased him an Ibanez that he liked. I'm getting ready to put him in lessons with a local guitar shop in our community. Anyways, I've been messing around with his guitar and I realized how much I miss playing. The only problem is I'm not as good as I used to be!!! So, now I need a new guitar to be able to jam with him. I'm not very wealthy so I can't just go and drop alot of money on a new rig and setup for myself. That's where income tax return will come in!!!. I was thinking on buying an Epi LP Standard Plain Top in Honeyburst finish. That guitar is beautiful and just what i'm looking for!I really like the Gibby LP but, that kind of money is not an option. The thing is, I fell in love with the Epi LP!!!!!! The sound is incredible!!!!!! I've been doing alot of research on the Epi LP and what can I say, I'm hooked! Any advice from all you Epi guys would be appreciated!!!!
