  1. Here is my Slash tabacco burst les paul..
  2. I have a 2001 Epi black beauty, I love this guitar.... I recently picked up a Slash Plus top 2008 tabacco burst and while I ddint completly love it at first, after 2 days of playing, I really love this guitar and could not happier, either with the price or quality of this MIC guitar!!!!!!!!!! SLASH SLASH SLASH!!!!
  3. I got intouch with RS and im getting this with some suitable knobs.. http://www.rsguitarworks.net/rsstore/product_info.php?products_id=400 Should go well with the upgraded Slash pickups. Have I missed anything? Will wait it out for the right traditional Pro...
  4. Thanks for the links, but neither of them ship to the land down under.
  5. Thanks for the link, says this though.. All guitars manufactured in Japan, China, Indonesia and Mexico use metric pots (6mm), and have metric sized holes drilled for the pots. All pots sold by RS Guitarworks use standard pots and hole diameters (3/8"). Therefore, holes in the guitar, plates and/or pickguards will need to be enlarged to 3/8" to fit properly. Also, metric knobs will not fit the RS pot shafts; most popular knobs are available on the store in new and aged versions. Please call us for details or questions about installation.
  6. With genuine Gibson ones or?? I'm a bit of a newb when it comes to this stuff..
  7. Hey guys, currently have a dilemma in what direction to go with my guitar. I currently have an epiphone les paul custom that I bought in 2001 for $1200 Australian dollars, so its the high end epiphone version. Black with gold hardware.. I really love the guitar, its beautiful to play, the only thing that is bugging me with it now after all the years is the gold hardware and pickup covers etc, the dodgy input jack etc, lol. Ok, now to my dilemma. I am wanting to get a Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro (Vintage Sunburst), but they aren't available in Australia and Guitar Center and Muscians Friend won't/can't ship them to Australia. Which really sucks. I was thinking of putting some Seymour Duncan APH-2 Alnico II Pro Slash Z-RZ Zebra Pickups in it. I don't mind spending the $200 or so on doing it. But is it worth it with the epiphone electronics? I need something to tie me over, either mod my epi with the mentioned pups or try and get my mits on the Trad Pro somehow. Grrrrrrr.... <_<
  8. I would take it back and ask them to rectify the problems you took the guitar there for in the first place.
  9. Look at this sellers reply. From SELLER MATE IF YOUR NOT GOING TO BUY IT **** OFF ITS MADE IN CHINA Me ASKING for pictures Dear hinesy18, Oi send me more pics of the guitar, close up pictures of the pickups and head stock especially, thanks.
  10. Yeah definetly looks suspect to me man. He sold one the same and used the same pics!! I mean where does the case and case candy go lol?? I will bust his balls but definelty cautious about purchasing this, I smell fake! If i could get something like this for a good price I would jump at it, a legitimate one, otherwise I might have to get myself a Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro. Thanks for the welcome as well!
  11. Hey guys, just wondering what a Slash GT epiphone les paul is new. I live in Australia and there is one for sale on Ebay, but it doesn't come with any hardcase or certificate etc that it should come with?
