I didn’t mean to dampen your excitement, I really love this guitar also. But this forum gives a lot of attention to this guitar as well as all other LPs. I enjoy reading about everyone’s thoughts and wouldn’t want to limit my reading enjoyment to just one guitar, my opinion only. Didn’t mean to offend, I do understand what you are saying, but I enjoy reading about this guitar in the same forum that others are writing about their much more expensive guitars and hearing their thoughts on what they think about this guitar as well. I feel that being here puts this guitar on the same playing field as all the others, and that makes me feel good about my choice.

WHOW!! mr. newhaven you really like your guitar, but let's keep it real. It is the cheapest Gibson made and is a great deal, but our own forum!!! Congratulations to all of us that bought one these, they are very nice, but I think I will stay in this forum.

I'm not a big fan of GC, but during their Labor Day Sale, my guitar was on sale for $699.00. I bought it for $650.00 and it is a new guitar and came with Gibson HSC with white liner. Their regular price is $899.00, I think. What a deal, they sold four of them in the 1/2 hour that I was in the store. They ran out of worn brown and were pushing the worn cherry when I left.

I have the exact guitar shown in cookieman15061’s post and his picture is fantastic (NICE CLEAN LOOK). What do you use to clean/polish your guitar. I was told to use nothing but a damp cloth. I clean my guitars after each use and it does not look as good as cookieman’s. What is the secret?
