  1. There are some great pictures of bridgeplates in this thread. What is the best and easiest way to take photos inside a guitar with the strings on?

    Thanks.

My J45 is the third photo in the OP's post.

No issues at all with the holes.

I used a Stewmac mirror and an iPhone camera.

It's not that difficult, you just have to get the angle correct and try to not use a flash.

Then you crop the image to bring more attention to the bridge.

  2. I`ve played a couple of J-35`s and found them to be great, and a bit on the zingy side. I have also played a few of the new IB-64 Texans, and to be honest I couldn`t hear any real difference acoustically, which was a surprise and the Texan seemed to play better for me. Perhaps I prefer the longer scale.

    Steve.

    Wow.

Over my PC speakers, that Texan sounded much better that the J35.

  3. Recently received these bridge pins for only $6.95...they fitted perfectly on my SWD (better than the original plastic ones did)...didn't notice any major sound improvement but they are made with very hard plastic (don't know if it's tusk) and they are ivory colored.

I purchased those pins for my J45 and had to send them back because they were completely undersized for the holes.

  4. Yes, it all goes back to T-Bone - Chuck Berry - Albert King - BB King - Buddy Guy - Jimi Hendrix - Johnny Winter - Muddy Waters - etc. - they all owe something to Aaron Thibeaux "T-Bone" Walker

    "Tuesday Afternoon" - Moody Blues

Charles Mingus - Wednesday Night Prayer
