I bought a supreme in december 2011, I wrote at Gibson and he told me that the ritchlite fingerboards in the les paul supreme was introduced in february 2012, according to the serial number of my supreme, she have an ebony fingerboard and it made in 2011. I bought a suprême from 2005, in order to make sure the fretboard is ebony. Ebony is a very dense, so there are only very small pores in it. Richlite does have any pores at all. LP started using baked maple and Richlite mid 2011.
