  1. Thanks, frechie. That's what I thought. I also thought that this guitar was one of the earlier runs on at the Matsumoku plant because the tuners have the epiphone logo on the back.
  2. Thanks for the reply but I don;t think that information is correct from the guitar dater project. For instance, this guitar: https://reverb.com/item/150092-vintage-1980-s-epiphone-casino-as-antique-sunburst-mij-japan-matsumoku is said to be made in 1992 in Korea by the guitar date project but it was clearly made in Japan.
  3. Hi Everyone, I have an Epiphone Casino that I believe was made in 1981 at the Matsumoku plant. I just wanted to get a second opinion from the experts. Here are a few pictures. The serial number is: 1120925. Thanks for your help!
  4. Thanks this one is listed for 799 USD.
  5. Thanks for the replies. I tried looking through sold listings and eBay and haven;t been able to come up with the going rate for these guitars. Anyone have an idea what these are currently selling for?
  6. Hi Everyone, I'm hoping you could help me date this Epiphone Casino. Im being told that is a Japanese Casino but I thought the Japanese Casino's had a 6 digit serial number? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  7. So I wound up purchasing it... It was a good price, plays nice but could use a little setup. I'll take some more pictures and post them.
  8. Thanks for all the replies. I like the bottom flame but I'm not sure if I like how everything matches up on the top half. It's new, old stock and what I think is a great price. So I am considering purchasing it. I do need to play it still.
  9. Hi Everyone, I am looking for some opinions on this one. What do you think of the top of the guitar below? It's LP Standard Premium Plus... I am on the fence about the top. It is supposed to be AAA top.
  10. Thanks for all of the reply's and help. Looking at the non Kent Armstrong pickup, does anyone have any idea what type of pickup it is? It has a rectangular sticker residue but I have no idea if it is stock or something else. Thanks again
  11. Thanks for all of the reply. I am in the US and the guitar is being sold for $500 USD. I have some better pictures of the guitar I posted above. The serial number is blacked out which is odd. There are a few aftermarket parts on the guitar. Anyone know who makes the second pickup?
  12. Thanks for the replies. So what are these selling for? I tried to see if the asking price was fair but I haven't been able find any completed sales on ebay for a Casino in this color with a Eiphone branded Bisby.
  13. Hi everyone, I am looking at the guitar below and I have a few questions. It looks like a Korean made Casino in the Vintage Cherry Sunburst Finish. It has a Epiphone branded Bigsby. Does anyone know what year Epiphone used these branded bigsbys? Do you think this was factory installed? Also, the truss rod cover is white. I don't think Epiphone ever used a white truss rod cover. I am assuming it is aftermarket? Does everything else look good about the guitar? This is the only picture I have to go on. Thanks for your help. Here are two new pictures of the guitar. Anyone know who makes the second pickup? Here are pictures of the guitar:
  14. With Summer NAAM starting, I was wondering what everyone thought Epiphone may release at the event. There was some speculation that a 339 sized Casino or a new Signature Casino may be released.
