Tele, everything you need and nothing you don’t. It’s been on Rock records, Country records, Blues records, and maybe some Jazz records too.

Lol. It's a sweet guitar Sarge

  2. 50 years ago I saw Roy Buchanan for the 1st time. Ive wanted a "Roy" Tele ever since. Got it today. Happy 64th bday to me.  A 60th anniversary Tele with Lindy Fralin Hot Vintage pickups.  Fat chunky neck. "A nice chunk of wood" - Keef

My stuff is vintage 2013 and 2020.

Hey Joe, if you’re on this forum, and you’re reading this, and that pisses you off that vintage guitars are so high priced why don’t you just stop buying them then because you’re the main offender of it and one of the guys driving them to that ridiculous price.

I'm the most vintage thing in my possession .

Oh yeah, im fully aware of how thats going to look 🙂

I think I have mentioned before I worked at a wood shop for a few years were we mill and dry and sell wood and make things for people.. So I have seen more than most. At one point I was concentrating on making bookmatched guitar tops. We also had quite a lot of flamed stuff before. Check this flamed beech for amazing

Missouri you’re absolutely right about Roy Clark and Glenn Campbell. They were mighty men when it comes to picking and playing guitar.

Roy Clark was the 1st guy that made me sit up and take notice that something very good was happening. I was just a kid watching him & Buck Owens on Hee Haw. my attention was quickly diverted to the Hee Haw Honeys though ...

I remember watching the Glen Campbell show. mid 60's you couldn't turn a radio on and not hear him.

Being in a mellow mood I went to see Marie
She was sitting on the swing with my good friend McGee

If it ain't twenty others, hell, it might as well be me

    And that made me mad
    Well, that made me mad
It made me so damned mad
    It made me crazy

    from MAD by R. Hunter

    I love that album

"Tales of the Great Rum Runners"

I can't tell if it's a brown recluse or a wolf spider. I'd look both of those up and see which one the markings match. A wolf spider will kill pests and is generally harmless, while a brown recluse is venomous and dangerous.

Gearbasher, I think Phil is right ... check out the link he shared.  i'm leaning towards the Wolf spider

I saw him right after a rehab. They were really good that night.

yep. I caught a couple shows while he was clean. was night & day. on the flip side of that was down front against the fence / stage in early 80's at Hampton Coliseum, right in front of Garcia. he looked awful. sweating profusely, looked in pain hardly opened his eyes. I expected to see his drop over at any moment.
