More than likely, these are made in China just as all Epiphones are....
Some are made in Korea, like my Sheraton II.

With regards to weight relief guitars. I was watching a few videos on Billy Gibbons gear. He has a few guitars are not only chambered bodies, but chambered necks and headstocks.
Also note: heavy gauge strings for Billy are "8's"

What makes you think it's not mahogany? Because the guitars feel lighter then they should? Would be interested to hear your opinion.
Epiphone generally uses a wood called Lauan (Philippine mahogany, meranti, red meranti, white meranti) . Lauan is widely sold around the world as "Philippine mahogany", including its use for plywood face veneers. It is one of the world's most popular timbers.
Still, better than plywood I'd say! :)

I got everything except for the 10 economy cords... well no problem my house is like a string factory anyway... the 2 sided poster is really cool I spent some time deciding which way i would fix it in my bedroom...
I'll be receiving my second Epiphone in a couple of days (Sheraton II...first being a Wildkat only a few months ago...these damn things are addicting!). If it's like my first and comes with all the swag (sans cable), I'll be able to hang both posters up showing each side.
My Fender Stratocaster came with a cord, but my Fender Jazz Bass didn't. No cord with the Wildkat, either. But it's just as well since I prefer Live Wire. They also have a lifetime guarantee.

Well, I received the much coveted bumper sticker with my Wildkat, as well as the two-sided poster, owner's manual and wrench.
Now if I only have a vehicle to put the bumper sticker on. Maybe I should stop buying guitars and save my money for a car? Oh hell, who am I kidding!?!
