Basically the info that I'm after is: if you turn the peg on the tuner, does the shaft turn the same direction or the opposite direction for the B & T variants?

Hi Grog - thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I'm using aftermarket tuners (Kluson Firebird Banjo KBT-9004SLN/P 2 + 2 Tuners) so there are no B or T marks.

Hi - I'm restoring a 1960 EB0 bass, the model with 4 banjo-type tuners. My question is: what direction do these tuners turn on an original? Do all 4 turn anti-clockwise to tighten the string or do the top 2 turn clockwise and the bottom 2 turn anti-clockwise? Thanks in advance for your insights -John
