  1. i am a dead hard core fan of peter frampton..and i once owned a 1997 les paul double cut,,nit the most famous of les pauls i know..but she was the only neck that i could never put aside because of my smaller hands..had to sell for cash but...there i a great deal on the table for me as you will see on the link im guessing that 1200 canadian would be about 700 usd..would you buy this dc les paul for that price?..does anyone own one? https://www.kijiji.ca/v-guitare/trois-rivieres/guitare-gibson-les-paul-dc-1997-signe-p-frampton/1288864270

  3. hi guys,,sorry for the late reply i thank all of you for the great advice i purchased the blackwater instead and was having an awesome time out of respect and and kindness to a fellow guitarist buddy of mine i showed him pictures of my beautybeast and he just flipped we traded (not the right venue for it) but we traded for a 2013 tremonti trem 10 top custom ..im not racist when it comes to guitars lol thanks though everyone bigtime
  4. hi guys well great news...shes here.lol..i will have a camera tomorrow to share the shots so first off she is just flawless..and has her original case and candy thats important as for playability..when i was in winnipeg i tried a great neck ..it was on a standard and it was a 60s neck..never tried a 60s neck they were always 50s i was mindful of this one..because she is a signature guitar..and due to some oersonal reason people hate chad k...i know now its because of fans perception of the guy that he has a crappy attitude ..in langley bc i went o his favourite bar back in 2015,,and yes others were saying that they dont like him because of his attitude about his fans but thats just the way THEY see it..yes ok fans make a groups successful too but man..what are artists supposed to be every fans best friend? nooo thats dumb ive always thought that nickleback was an awesome canadian band and a great band in general really but this being said..she has the same great neck feel,,a cool blend of piezo and even the neck is tilted back 17 degrees more ive read,,making out of tunes harder i talked to a moderator from reverb..ok yes theres only 200 made,,limited run very,,but he mentioned that if i wanted to sell her then a good starting price would be 3450..but as you said fz..yes i paid exactly 2500...but thats 2500 canadian though not american so im guessing 2000 usd? hey pip yes they are 490 and 498..they just flame my plan was to gt my hands on the signature T i talked about..but yes,,im thinking that if ever i want to sell which i doubt i will but if i do i know i can make a profit..the signature t resale hopes are very low im certain guys,,and this is a very very unique guitar...limted run of 200..i guess because the market failed and gibson said ,,nahhhh lol..but evn these im thinking holds significant historical value...but this is all best guess
  5. yes only 200 made and very rare but i am seriously considering one..i have one on the line for 2500 ive done so much research i have read the awesome comments on them and the terrible..and even the guy on you tubr does not give her a glowing review im not used to the 50s necks that much but i can get used to it after awhile im sure,,im a 60s neck guy does anyone own one?..do you recommend? and in case you havent read my follow up pip thanks for the links..
  6. thanks pip i guess i did confuse things a bit yes i did notice the page a few days back..and i read them all but ive also read about how its a crap guitar from these guys and an awesome guitar from those guys..i think actually nickleback,,is an awesome twice deadly over a day group...i just do not know why there is such hate for the guy ive seen the youtube video and the guy playing her doesnt exactly give her a standing ovation but mentions that she is a great guitar for certain players..the 200 made only is a cool thing but resale will take forever..and at a loss?...i love her look even though i am a 60s neck guy..and shes a 50s neck guy the waters,,2500 the signature t 1800 canadian..and both resale sucks im guessing..but that 60s neck on the signature t..the price save,,but the look and piezo system the ORIGINALITY of the waters...god ..i wish i can talk to a few who had them..but i guess even then it wouldnt help me..i will make a new post conserning this
  7. thanks guys,,,yes youve all made some great points i have more cash then i had assumed now..and theres one that i just cant get over...the 2010 mint as the day is long les paul black waters..i want a les paul again its been to long for me can i please have some feed back on ones who might own one?..even though you might not be crazy about char kroeger? to have a les paul that is right for you is a tough decision.it must be the right one but she just looks so deadly..does anyone one one? my thanks once again
  8. hello all kolhauszer once again asking for some help im buying a 2013 mint les paul translucent black signature t for 1800 canadian..im guessing 1500 usd?..ive been to the reverbs and ive seen that they are worthy of 1700 to 2300 and more depending on condiion and mine is flawlessss on the sold section ive seen many between 1400 and 1700 canadian some much much more but not many what would be your value of this beauty beast thanks

  10. hello guys i wanted to take the time and thank you all individually by buying you all gibson guitars of your choosings as a thank you for taking your personal time to help me..sadly the japanese hotty took my lottery winnings last night after we made out ...it was a hell of a week though and well worthy of the 35 million that i scored,,damn it i still wish she was there with me at the time though,,oh well its 35 million well spent...lol..this being lied about...i do want to thank you all for the words and advice.. hi smokey..well to be honest it was going to be for a 2 prs custom 22 and 24 trade that i do not choose to have anymore,,but the value of the 2 prs comes to 4200.but no ill pass on the trade hey merciful..yes i see that for certain.im glad i popped in here to ask advice im seeing that a guitar like this is far from worthy of the value even if it would be kept as a final guitar nighthawk farns pippster..thank for your help as well..i was bombed like hiroshima when i read that she is NOT a true custom?..i have seen the booklet but im assuming now that there are differences between a custom and one made by custom shop?..peace out
  11. i love that answer bro..funny you should mention prs,,im considering trading her for 2 vintage custom prs..a 24 and a 22,,but aside from the flipping aspect however?..im assuming thaT 4200 would still be unworthy,,he was asking 5200..and ive seen a few going for that price but that is far from actual knowledge on knwoing if she is worthy of that price,,which is why im here,,would this be a great guitar to trade for or purchase if this was going to be kept forever
  12. hi all your advice was awesome the first time on..now im here asking for help once again for advice on you pros...need it bigtime this les paul custom shop with all the candy?..please tell me if she is w0rthy of that price..i am done now with guitars..on my facebook youd see 34 that ive had in the last 5 years alone and i am done..all i want now is to dedicate myself to one woman is she worthy? https://www.kijiji.ca/v-guitar/ville-de-montreal/gibson-les-paul-standard-f-custom-shop/1315095103

  14. i want her..i want her bad another friend of mine who loves lesters strats and prs advised me not to i sent him the link and she yes she is honestly worn,,but for the trade for mine it wouldnt be justice the electronics of the time im told were very sub par and the paf is not original..in those times they used paf account number stickers for identification and he mentiones that after many years,,gibson necks had tendencies to wrap more rapidly then other cpounterparts even though the owner of the 78 swears she great i believe both of course the vol pot mid range does not straighten out properly according to the owner..and im still uncertain to what that might mean there are 350 viewers on his beauty and still unsold..there are 50 on my mccarty 58 now mine and his are very close to the same value very mine i was told only goldtops are custom requested..the gold top is mint..stock 5708s and signed by paul reed smith..on the headstock i mean yes they are both of the samw value..ive always wanted a vintage guitaR but his needs so much work and mine is flawless..both of the same value..ots so hard knowing what to do when you really want something but..i believe i will turn it down....my thanks for the help fellow jammers..peace
  15. im sure shes a killer especially with one original neck paf pick up in her belly but not as killer as the help my friend..my thanks..i was a prs man..still in my heart but last month i tried my first 60s style neck and since than im so comfortable around les pauls..im not afraid of their weight anymore..although im uncertain if this one is weight relieved..or chambered as you guys call them considering her age im guessing not the trade for the mccarty 58 is an awesome deal then i know that now..my thanks again johnny peace
